The scene is constructed through glass, reflection, blur, and compressed space: commuters stand and sit close together, yet each appears psychologically isolated by the small illuminated rectangle of a phone. The window becomes both a mirror and a screen, allowing the photographer’s reflected body to enter the image without dominating it. This self-presence creates an introspective tension, suggesting that observation is never neutral; the person behind the camera is also part of the city’s restless choreography. The visual language recalls classic street photography through its quick framing, accidental gestures, and attention to everyday anonymity, while the contemporary phones shift the subject toward modern solitude. Motion blur outside the carriage stretches the city into streaks, contrasting with the still concentration of the passengers. High contrast lighting emphasizes metal rails, plastic handles, faces, and silhouettes, transforming practical subway elements into graphic lines and visual rhythm. The color version feels immediate and crowded, with reflections multiplying bodies and signs; the black-and-white version removes distraction and heightens the emotional distance between figures. Together, the images explore urban speed, technological absorption, and the fragile intimacy of public transport. The artwork asks viewers to recognize themselves in this moving mirror: present in the same space, connected to invisible networks, yet often separated from the people standing inches away.

[TRADITIONAL_CHINESE] La composition repose sur la vitre, les reflets, le flou de mouvement et la densité des corps. Les passagers partagent un espace très réduit, mais chacun semble absorbé par son téléphone, isolé dans une bulle lumineuse.
