Cette œuvre prend pour point de départ un dessin d’enfant réalisé au feutre vert sur une feuille jaune. Dans l’image initiale, on distingue des spirales, des étoiles, des courbes, une forme proche d’un arc-en-ciel, un grand corps vertical et plusieurs signes flottants qui semblent attendre une histoire. La version achevée ne cherche pas à corriger ces marques spontanées. Elle les respecte et les prolonge pour construire un univers abstrait, joyeux et narratif. La grande forme centrale devient un bateau magique, rempli de rouges, de bleus, de violets, d’oranges et de motifs décoratifs. Des points, des quadrillages, des rayures, des triangles et des mosaïques donnent de la profondeur tout en conservant la fraîcheur du geste enfantin. Autour du bateau apparaissent des étoiles, une lune, des montagnes, des châteaux, de petits personnages, des poissons, des vagues et des créatures imaginaires.
