Cette œuvre part d’un dessin d’enfant très simple : cinq fleurs tracées avec des couleurs différentes, rose, vert, jaune, bleu et orange. Chaque fleur possède des pétales ronds, un centre circulaire et une tige élémentaire. Le dessin original exprime une vision spontanée de la nature, sans recherche de perspective exacte ni de réalisme strict. L’image finale conserve cette innocence, mais la transforme en un jardin riche, lumineux et narratif. Les fleurs gardent leur structure naïve, tandis que les pétales gagnent en volume grâce à des coups de pinceau superposés, des contours plus affirmés, des zones d’ombre et des dégradés lumineux.
